Starlight-class sensors are built to collect as much light as possible, which helps in dim streets, gardens and warehouses. Chinneo's IMX327 2MP starlight camera module with IR-CUT pairs the IMX327 low-light sensor with a 90 degree M12 lens for Raspberry Pi series boards.

Good to know
- Shares its PCB design with our IMX290 module; only the sensor differs
What is in the box
- The Raspberry Pi board shown in the connection illustration is not included
Day and night modes
The board carries an IR-CUT filter switch, so the camera can move between day and night modes. It can be switched by hand or by software through the Raspberry Pi GPIO. In complete darkness, any camera needs an infrared light source. The listing does not show one.
Questions to settle before you order
- Cable lengths. The length of the 15PIN and 22PIN cables is not specified.
- Your exact Raspberry Pi model. The listing says "Raspberry Pi series" without a model-by-model list.
- Your infrared lighting plan for dark scenes.
